突然現れる巨大な岡本太郎の壁画！

関西人ならずとも太陽の搭を作った
岡本太郎を知らない人はいないはず。
今年はいよいよ大阪万博の開催ですが
淀川区で壁画プロジェクトがあるらしい。

発起人は淀川在住アーティストBAKIBAKI氏。
岡本太郎の作画はDOPPEL氏。

車の往来が多い場所なので向かいの
淀川河川敷公園内の無料駐車場に停めて
からにしましょう。

十三駅周辺に様々な壁画があるので
散策してみるのもおすすめ！

Osakamaido!

Anyone who has driven along the Yodogawa River will be blown away by this! A huge mural of Taro Okamoto suddenly appears! Even if you’re not from Kansai, there’s no doubt that everyone knows about Taro Okamoto, who created the Tower of the Sun. The Osaka Expo is being held this year, and it seems there’s a mural project going on in Yodogawa Ward. The initiator is Yodogawa-based artist BAKIBAKI. The Taro Okamoto painting is by DOPPEL. As this is a busy area, it’s best to park in the free parking lot across the street in Yodogawa Riverside Park.
There are many murals around Juso Station, so we recommend taking a stroll around! Search for Yodo Wall and check out the website! We will also be uploading other artworks at a different time.
